I'm excited to host and play a set at this new event right here in the South Bay (Lomita, CA) It will be a monthly series with an inhouse audience, and will be filmed and shown online. A year ago I started doing this show right before Covid hit and am so grateful that it will begin again. Project Barley is a brewery that features a huge selection of beer. CLYDENE JACKSON Clydene is an accomplished performer, musician, vocalist, songwriter, and arranger. Her voice can be heard on numerous platinum recordings by celebrated artists, including Rod Stewart, Barbra Streisand, Michael McDonald, Patti LaBelle, and many others. Her vocal style and enormous talent crosses all musical genres.

Clydene is well known in the music industry as a First-call session singer, twice recognized with the MVP Female Vocalist Award from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS). Her songs have been recorded by Natalie Cole and Barbara Mandrell. She co-wrote the theme for ABC-TV's hit show, Homeroom and her voice can be heard on numerous national commercials and prime-time network television shows, as well as top grossing films: Avatar, The Lion King, Men In Black 3, The Ides Of March, Happy Feet, and The Lorax. Early in her career, Clydene's debut album, Fresh produced by the legendary Ray Charles, gave her the opportunity to express her talents as both a singer and songwriter, and was the beginning of countless hours spent in the recording studio as a singer and keyboardist. Her latest CD, Sparrow is a beautiful collection of sacred songs. Over the years it has been mostly in her group, GRAVITY 180, where she has found an outlet for her performing and songwriting. CYNTHIA CARLE Cynthia Carle is a screenwriter, singer-songwriter, actor & choreographer. She's performed on B’way, off B’way, in regional theater, in film, and with her own songs at venues including Genghis Cohen, McCabe’s, MBar, Molly Malone's, Fanatic Salon, the Lyric Hyperion, Comedy Central Stage’s Sit ‘N’ Spin, the West Bank in NY and the Don Quixote in Santa Cruz. Cynthia choreographed & appeared in the Stuart Gordon-Mark Nutter hit Re-Animator the Musical at the Steve Allen in LA, at NYMF, at the Edinburgh Fringe, and Las Vegas’s Smith Center. Screenwriting credits include co-writing, with Christopher Reed, The Darned, the Touchstone film The Sixth Man, and Disney’s You Wish, for which she was a Humanitas Award finalist. She’s co-creator, with Mark Nutter, of two musicals: Dr. Dungbeetle’s House of Dreams, and the Christmas Smackdown, which received rave reviews in LA, Chicago, and NY.

JODI SIEGEL Jodi Siegel, originally from Chicago, IL, is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Over the years Jodi has opened for and or shared the stage with many respected musicians including: Albert King, Robben Ford, Robert Cray, J.D. Souther, David Lindley, Fred Tacket and Paul Barrere (Little Feat) and countless others. Her songs have been recorded by Maria Muldaur, Marcia Ball, Tommy Ridgley and Teresa James. She has recorded two CD'S; Stepping Stone and her latest CD, “Wild Hearts,” produced by Steve Postell (Immediate Family, David Crosby, Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Iain Matthews), is filled with great songs, cool grooves, intimate, smart lyrics and some of the best of the best musicians in Los Angeles today including; Mike Finnigan (organ, piano), Hutch Hutchinson, Abe Laborial Sr., Alphonso Johnson (bass), Russ Kunkel, Michael Jerome Moore, John Ferraro, Arno Lucas (drums, percussion), Joe Sublett (Saxophone) and Maxayne Lewis and Clydene Jackson (background vocals). Each song has a soulful delivery with an undeniable down-home elegance.
